Dear Applicant,
In order to be eligible for the Senatorial Scholarship through Senator Michael Hough’s office, you must be a graduating high school senior, undergraduate student, post graduate student, or career/technical school student residing in District 4. The scholarship may be used for full-time enrollment at any accredited Maryland institute of higher education. Applicants must demonstrate financial need and must have already applied for FAFSA before submitting their application.
Important Dates:
- February 1st – Scholarships Applications are open.
- March 1st – Complete and file your FAFSA.
- May 1st – All applications are due.
Print the application below. Please complete and mail to 3510 Worthington Blvd., Ste. 301 Frederick, MD 21704 post-marked no later than May 1st, 2018.
If you are planning to attend a college or university out-of-state, you must receive an approved Unique Major Status in order to receive a Senatorial Scholarship. The application for Unique Major Status is provided below and takes up to 8 weeks to review. Please complete your application in a timely manner.
